BioBorn and raised on a small island in Southwestern Ontario, George has spent her last 28 years contributing to the small time success of her family's organic farm.
The youngest in the Hayes household, George took on the responsibility of keeping things going, when her older brother Matt decided rural life wasn't for him. Living vicariously through his letters and emails, George grew a taste for discovering was was beyond the waters surrounding her home. But family obligation and loyalty ran deeper, than the calling of distant wander-lust.
Her distaste for the closemindedness of the small town attitude only grew with the obliteration of the idea that in sleepy towns, no one locks their doors, and nothing bad ever happens. With big brother returning home to take up the reigns, and wicked rumours becoming more and more suffocating with each chastising look, George has called a 'small town' quits.
Its not 'running away'.. its spreading your wings. If Matt could do it, then she certainly could. Under the watchful eye of 'big brother', and the insistance that she keep in touch with his only 'trustworthy' friend, George has landed in 'sin city'.
If the worst can happen in 'rural paradise', than she'd rather take her chances in the 'City that Never Sleeps'.
